Day 1: Choosing an Accountability Partner

Before we dive into all the material, it is vital you find someone to be an accountability partner to encourage you though this journey.

Don’t think of an accountability partner as merely someone to whom you confess your faults and weaknesses. Think of a partner as someone who is there to remind you of the person you want to be. A good partner is not someone who can merely call you out on your sin, but someone who can call you up to the person you want to become.

Ideally, this should be someone who also receives your Covenant Eyes Internet reports on a regular basis. This will help to remove any secret Internet habits from your life, taking them out of the darkness and into the light.

Action Step

Video playWatch “Who Should Receive Your Reports?” This video is about the kind of person you should choose to be an Accountability Partner. Then invite someone to receive your Internet Accountability Reports.

Even if you already have a Covenant Eyes Accountability Partner, perhaps it is time now to consider other potential partners who could come alongside you to encourage you. If you have not signed up yet, be sure to get signed up today. Use HopeforWholeness as your code for your first 30 days free or click this link.

PenRemember: After you watch the video, remember to write down your one take-away you want to remember in your journal. Fill out your self-assessment as well.
